About Me
I continue to have a wonderful wandering and creative life; from a study of religion and philosphy at Birmingham-Southern College, through a short stint at Vanderbilt Divinity School, to the study and practice of art, to writing about art as a critic and to a a position as a radio announcer for an NPR station, not to mention the jobs to support my wanderings. Since 1998 I have been teaching Yoga and I am happy that Yoga has found me. I study and enjoy the the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, especially the ethics of Yoga called Yama and Niyama. I teach all levels of Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on Deep Relaxation also known as Yoga Nidra. My classes are geared to teaching the student to relax deeply into your self and to learn how to carry that ease into the daily life. To me, this is a action of grace and a life moved by grace seems to be a wonderful and creative way to be.
